There are 4 ways to play on Lottofy, depending on the game. You can either play using an “Individual Ticket”, use a “Fund”, join a “Syndicate” or a so called “Group”. Let’s take a look at what each of these actually mean.  

1. Individual Ticket – How to Play 

As the name suggests, with this game option you play on your own, without the involvement of any other players and you choose the numbers to play.  

You can play single or multiple lines of numbers, just tap the numbers you want in the box. 2. Fund – How to Play 

This is a very interesting way of playing the lottery, available and made easy by Lottofy.  

Put simply, you choose your numbers just like an Individual Ticket, and your selection goes into a ‘Betting Fund’. If any selection in the fund wins the draw all participants get paid out in proportion of the tickets they added to the fund. If it was your specific selection of numbers that won you keep half of the payout yourself and the other half gets distributed to other players in the winning fund.  

Entering into a Fund is easy and picking your numbers is the same as in the "Individual" option, except that, when making the payment, you add the ticket to the corresponding “Betting Fund”.  

This might seem a bit complicated at first but let’s look at an example to clarify what happens:  

• Let’s say you enter a Betting Fund that has a total of 100 tickets for a draw and together those tickets have winnings of 1,000 Euros. 
• And say you contributed one of these 100 bets that were in the fund.   
• If your own ticket didn’t win you would still get 10 Euros of the winning fund; 1/100 because you entered 1 ticket out of 100 total in the fund.   
• If your ticket wins, say 10 Euros, you would pay 5 euros of the winning into the funds and keep 5 plus the 10 you get from other winning tickets in the fund. So you get 15 Euros total, in this example.  

Of course, we all hope the winnings are in 10s or 100s of MILLIONS not 10s… but the payouts work just the same. This is a great way to increase your chances of winning whilst still being in control of your own game selections.  

3. Syndicates - How to Play  

The third way to play at Lottofy is to join a lottery syndicate. In this play option you don’t have any tickets and you don’t choose any numbers but you do get a significant boost in your odds of winning for a fraction of the cost.  

How is this possible? Simple. Lottofy will combine hundreds of lines (number combinations) into a syndicate pool and you then buy a share of that pool. The winnings of the syndicate gets distributed to players according to how many shares you have.

The benefit is that you’re entering with hundreds of tickets without having to buy that many tickets yourself, the downside is that you have to share winnings - although this is probably ok if your syndicate hits the jackpot and brings in hundreds of millions!  

You don’t have to keep track of all the numbers played in your Syndicate, everything is automated and displayed in the "My Bets" section of your Lottofy account. You’ll also get an email confirmation with all the details and after the drawing another email will land in your inbox with the draw results, the amount of the total winnings of the Syndicate and the part of the winnings that is all for you!  

4. Lottery Groups – How to Play  

The fourth and final way to play international lotteries online with Lottofy is to go ahead and create, or join an existing Betting Group.

Betting Groups are a lot like playing the Lottery as a Team – it’s the social way to win!   At Lottofy, you can form a group with your friends and family, create a public group for anyone to join, or join a public group. 

The idea here is that it’s more fun to play and dream together and when you win you all win a share and can start your new life as lottery millionaires at the same time.  Members of your group all contribute an amount that is then used to select numbers that will be played between all the participants. Everyone then receives the winnings proportionally to the amount they have contributed to the team play.
